Arusha National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Arusha National Park, equipped with lunch boxes provided by Janibichi Adventures Ltd, for a full day of game drives.
Arusha National Park is one of the most fascinating landscape spots in Tanzania, located just 32 km from Arusha. This park can be explored in a one-day excursion. In addition to its abundant wildlife, the park boasts diverse and relatively lesser-known flora and fauna. There are three spectacular features that stand out: Momela Lakes, Meru Crater, and the Ngurdoto Crater. On clear days, both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru can be seen from the park.
The park covers an area of 137 sq. km. You can bring a picnic lunch and drive to our nearest National Park to explore the Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lakes. Here, you may spot giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, olive baboons, colobus monkeys, duikers, and dik-diks. If you're lucky, you might even witness thousands of flamingos on the larger lake.
